Architect Alexander Vashurkin was commissioned to design a modern and elegant residence in Barcelona, Spain. He opted for a minimalist and refined style, using white walls and stainless steel.
The living room showcases two Ego armchairs, which have design details that give them a sophisticated and original style. They stand out against the white background and catch the guests’ attention. The seats are modern and comfortable, allowing residents to relax, read, or enjoy a drink. A custom side table completes the harmonious and inviting atmosphere
The Ego armchair’s graphic design is both simple and powerful, resulting from a synthesis of lines and volumes that interweave like a labyrinth. The cubical metal structure and leather upholstery distinguish the lean and rigorous volumes, emphasizing the sculptural shape of this product. Giuseppe Viganò designed the Ego armchair in 2000, and it quickly became an icon.
The Ego armchairs exemplify the merging of design and architecture to create a unique and appealing living space.
