Our partner, Ojinaga Architecture and Interior Design Studio, has recently completed a breathtaking renovation of a 400-square-metre house in the heart of Barcelona. This project showcases the seamless blend of modern design and timeless elegance, with a particular focus on our PALACE sofas and armchairs.

A Vision of Modern Elegance

The original layout of the house featured multiple floor levels, a design choice reflective of its era. However, the Studio envisioned a more contemporary, open-plan space. They transformed the interior into a single-level, open, and airy environment that maximizes the home’s impressive height and natural light.

Architectural Harmony

Every architectural element in this renovation was meticulously crafted to align with this vision. The house now boasts elegant Italian walnut parquet flooring, installed with a Hungarian tip cut, and high two-tone lacquered doors. The uniform ceilings with indirect lighting add to the home’s sophisticated ambiance. Inspired by luxurious silk fabric, the walls and doors in the noble areas are adorned with silk wallpaper, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Central to this renovation are our PALACE sofas and armchairs. The PALACE sofa, designed by Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri, is upholstered in pure aniline leather in a rich dark brown hue. Its classic lines and majestic allure are complemented by a quilted seam with a squared motif, offering both style and supreme comfort.

The PALACE armchairs, upholstered in grey nubuck with a dark brown leather profile, perfectly match the sofa. Both pieces feature a chrome metal finish, adding a touch of modern sophistication to their timeless design.
